FastPak
The FastPak EXP offers an affordable pouch packaging solution with the safety of canister dispensing for more than 320 medications. It can barcode up to 100 percent of oral solid prescription medications, which represent the majority of doses in an average hospital pharmacy.

The EXP consists of packaging subunits that can be easily switched from traditional unit-dose and multi-dose solutions to automated dispensing cabinets or 30-day boxes. Our innovative Smart Canisters are optional and can be interchanged quickly to offer automatic content detection for medication database management.

FastPak EXPs flexible barcode labeling options meet industry standards for compliance packaging as part of your barcode medication administration (BCMA) initiative for increased patient safety. Every dose can be clearly labeled with drug name, strength, and description; and, if desired, the patient's name and time of administration.

Optional Companion Solution:

• The Bar coding Station accurately and cost-efficiently barcodes all items not bar coded, or not properly bar coded, by the manufacturer. When the FastPak EXP is combined with the Bar coding Station, any size facility can achieve a complete barcode solution.
• Barcode scanning verifies that the correct bulk oral solid medication is being added to the correct canister in the correct location. The scale determines average piece weight of individual medications and stores this information in the database to automatically calculate subsequent canister replenishment. The scale is accurate to at least 99.5 percent and can be used as a stand-alone counter.

Blister Cards
Our machine is a robotic solution for completely automating prescription filling, sealing, and patient labeling of 30 or 31-Day single medication blister cards (a.k.a. bingo-cards) in a physically compact enclosure.

This solution offers unbounded value to pharmacies in need of higher prescription throughput without extra staffing. It is the most cost effective automated prescription packaging of blister cards in the market.

Blister cards, which typically hold a single medication 30-day supply, are preferred for use in Long Term Care facilities due to their ease of handling, inspecting, and administering to patients. DOSIS has the capacity to run continuously for up to four hours unattended before restocking empty blisters. To minimize impact to pharmacy floor plans, the unit is a similar in size and shape to a vending machine or shallow refrigerator, requiring a foot-print of less than 7 sq. ft. of floor space. Each unit contains 60 medication containers each with a capacity of 1000cc.

Calendar Filling: Our blister cards now give you the ability to dispense blister cards based on a prescriptions start date. It reads the start date entered into the Pharmacy Management Information System (PMIS) and dispenses the medication into the blisters so that the pre-printed numbers on the card match the dates for the prescription.
This calendar filling feature is available on both card types; cycle-fill style of cards (1 to 31, starting at 1) or non-cycle fill cards (1 to 31, starting at 31). The two card images to the right shows two prescriptions for 14 pills. One has a start date of the 25th with pills wrapping to the first of the week and the other shows a prescription for 14 pills with a start date of the 7th.

Ease of Use: Our blister cards are unlike most automation products when it comes to ease of use. We start off by NOT installing any software onto your computers. They are 100% browser based for all reporting, replenishment and monitoring activities. This allows you to monitor the operating status from any terminal on your network. There is a touch screen for all user interactions at the system.

Pill Bottles
Pill bottles are the traditional pharmacy packaging. Medications are packaged in appropriately-sized bottles for the entire supply of a given prescription from a physician. Complete Pharmacy Care offers pill bottles on an “as needed” basis.
